Hello everyone, A noob here for sql and clustering. I need to create a two node sql 08 cluster with server 08. I just have a couple of questions regarding disk volumes which I hope maybe you can assist me with.

1- From what I have read, it seems like I need to have 5 shared volumes (Quorum, data, logs, TempDB & MSDTC)for the cluster. Is this correct or can I use TempDB on the data volume?

2- How large should the MSDTC vloume be and what raid type is best?

Also, is there some step by step guide that is out there that can help me setup my cluster? I have found some guides but they are not really complete so I have to kind of grab some info from one then some more on the other then it just confuses the hell out of me..
Thanks in advance..

I can setup this cluster for only $50. Payment via paypal.
my e-mail is shotov@gmail.com, icq 451452860
btw you can locate all data, logs and tempdb on a single shared drive but consider performance of this solution.

Thanks, Vadym
