I've got two Windows 2008 servers that are bombing out with ClearTrace.2008.36 no matter what trace files I try to load. It takes about 2 seconds to get the error.

In case it matters, I am running SQL Server 2005 Enterprise edition.

I'm currently copying the trace files to my Windows XP laptop to see if CT will work there. I'll reply back with the answer.

They fail on my laptop too. All that's in the file is RPC:Completed, so not sure what's wrong.

Give build 37 a try. I think that may fix your problem.

It's related to C#/.NET being case-sensitive and SQL Server being case insensitive.

Looks like it's working! Previously it would fail within a couple of seconds after hitting the import button. My trace files are large, so it's going to take a while to import them, but I think you fixed it as it's past a million rows already. I'll post back when it's done.

Thanks!
