I have two transactional replication and one snapshot replication in my server(Publisher) SQL 2005. I am doing a migration to SQL 2008. Is there a way to take backup and restore the replication in SQL 2008.

Current Setup
=============
Data in SQL 2005 ---> Replicating to --> SQL 2005

After Migration
===============
Data in SQL 2008 ---> Replicating to --> SQL 2005

No. You should script it out and apply the scripts on new servers.

You can script and migrate to the other databse as mentioned above ,also you can follow the MSDN tips from the Microsft site.
