hi guys,
I have an application that utilizes multiple databases, and are partition by domains e.g.

http://payments.mydomain.com
http://shopping.mydomain.com

etc

however am wondering for the underlying databases is it good to use a period or underscore ?

Avoid using a dot. Underscore is good
