I need to use SSIS to aggegate & process several files. It's pretty good about getting files via FTP & HTTP, but it cannot get files which are sent as an e-mail attachment. I did find the CozyRoc Receive Mail Task (http://www.cozyroc.com/ssis/receive-mail-task) which will do the job. However, I would need to buy/lease the whole package & the lowest price tier is $400/year. I just need this receive mail function, does anyone know if there are free (or less expensive) alternatives available?
