Hi everybody,

We need to migrate all the databases from a server to a new one. We use Sql server express 2005.
I'm quite a nooby and after many researches, I'm a bit lost between backup/restore; attach/detach and I don't exactly know how to do this migration properly.
Would it be possible to have some piece of advice please?

Many thanks,

If you can have the paths be exactly the same between the two servers, then you can simply stop the services on both servers, copy the database files over and then start the services on the new server. Voila!
