Greetings,

Been banging my head all day long and have done my due diligence. I have a flat source file that has German, Iralian and chinese keywords. TRying to ingest that data from this flat file via SSIS. Data is ingested but the quality is trashed when it gets to SQL server table.

1. Should my FLat File connection in connection Manager specifiy the data type?
2. Should my Dat Flow specify it
3. Should I abandon data flow and use bulk ingest command?
