Hello, i am trying to export sqldata to an xls file with a linkedserver and i get the following error:
OLE DB provider "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0" for linked server "ExcelSource" returned message "Could not find installable ISAM.".
Msg 7303, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
Cannot initialize the data source object of OLE DB provider "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0" for linked server "ExcelSource".
I have followed the msdn procedure described here (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/209805)for re-registering the appropriate excel dll but with no results. In my test server i have win 2003 32bit and excel 2010. Any ideas? (I want a solution that will work on SQL express edition 2008 and win732bit)
