Hi.On a Win 2008 r2 sp1 server will be installing Sql 2005 server. Sql server 2008 is already installed, i believe with at least service pack1.Have you ever encountered any issues with installing a previous version after a newer one?
In my PC i have win7 ultimate with both 2005,2008 and 2012 installed without issues but they were installed from older to newer.Also this is not win7 but server2008 so i would appreciate any potential problem.If they work ok together on basic functionality my second concern is if they can both run SQL Server Agent service without any issues.
