I'm EXTREMELY new to Oracle SQL developer. So much that I had to learn how to compile in the application.

I've written a procedure which takes VARCHAR as input. I want to test it with the variable, but can't seem to get the function to be called. It's grayed out!

How can get the function to be not grayed out so I can call it?

Very new to this

This is not Oracle based forum. We deal with MS SQL Server and transact sql. so you may be better off posting this in some oracle forums like
