Just a normal backup/restore and then fix up the userids. Are the users using Windows authentication?

Tara

Thanks a bunch for jumping in, I just took on the sql server legacy, if I want to bring this new database to our cluster don't I have to create the instance first?
if that is the case do you have a doc that I can follow to add this new database as a new instance on our sql cluster.

Thanks a bunch tara
