Yes Hello we have a replicated set of sql servers that have now failed for the first time we viewd the monitor and it said the last article was not valid. We removed it from the list now it still fails saying the next article is to be removed ... We have not removed it as this has not happened before
Any thoughts ?

The job failed. The Job was invoked by User SEPTAAD1\asws. The last step to run was step 3 (Detect nonlogged agent shutdown.). The job was requested to start at step 1 (Distribution Agent startup message.).

Cannot drop the table 'dbo.yard_position_log' because it is being used for replication. (Source: MSSQLServer, Error number: 3724)

What is trying to drop yard_position_log?

This isn't a replication error.

Have a look at the agent logs, msrepl_errors and the application event logs.

Did you try to drop articles that are published?

How did you drop it?

You may need to drop the subscriptions and recreate the the publication at this point...hard to say without knowing exactly what you've done. Tried re-snapshotting?

Might as well script out the publication and post that here too so we can see what you have.
