I am setting up a Lab environment (To configure Failover Cluster for SQL Server 2008 on Windows Server 2008 r2 ), and then I want to deploy it on the production environment I mean production server. I am not a very professional person, so any help would be appreciated.
I have 2 Servers for cluster nodes which I want to install failover cluster feature on these server ( then create sql failover cluster on one of servers, and join the other one to the cluster).
Here are my question:
Can I Install Failover Cluster without SAN? For example: can I use another server to setup shared disk for my cluster? and How can I set up storage pool?
Thanks a lot!!!
