 How to push the data from database?

I want to push the data from database to application instead of application pull the data.

How can I do this? Is there any method to do this, refer me good link.

In SQL 2000, an extended stored procedure is the only option that comes to mind at the moment. In later versions of SQL Server, you could use Service Broker, or perhaps CLR stored procedures.
