Hi Experts here,

I have installed SQL server 2008 R2 enterprise edition along with reporting services on windows server 2008.

While configuring the report server i am not getting any folder in report manager.Do i need to do any extra configuration.

I am able to see only below on URL http://localhost/reportserver_r2

localhost/ReportServer_R2 - /

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services Version 10.50.4000.0

Please kindly help me to configure the report server, any reference link may help as well.

you need to create folder.
One way to do it is to specify folder details in Business Intelligence Development Studio while creating reports and while deploying it will create the folder for you in the server.
Alternatively you can also go to report manager page and create folder yourselves.
The url for Report Manager home page should be something like below

http://localhost/reportserver_r2/Pages/Folder.aspx

this should give you with a GUI with create folder button to create new project folders

My question is on report server role. Whats the role to which you're mapped to currently.
