Some interesting stuff there, I knew some of it but certainly not all.

As a slight aside on the Geography front, there are at least 4 countries that span more than one continent. Without using a search engine how many can you get?

Russia and Turkey (Asia and Europe), Egypt maybe? (Africa and Asia) or Israel. I'm not sure about that due to the status of the territory Israel captured in 1967. I know some of it has been returned.

The list I saw was Russia, Turkey, Egypt and Spain though Wikipedia has a different list [url]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_transcontinental_countries[/url]
