hi team,

I want to connect and execute queries on my office system database from home. Kindly suggest if this is possible.

It is possible, but most companies have some sort of security policies that prevent unauthorized access from outside. So start by talking to your IT personnel to set you up for remote access. Depending on how they set it up, once you have that, you will be able to connect to your company network via a VPN or something similar, and then it will be as though you are at the office.

Once I VPN into my company's network, I then use RDP to get to a client machine. On that client machine is where I do my SQL work. I don't want to launch some important query from my home computer and risk the VPN connection going down. So my query is safely running still even though I got disconnected temporarily.
