Hi friends
This is my first post in this forum and I hope so to share useful information here.

The problem is that I launched few day ago RBS service (Remote BLOG Storage) on SQL server 2012 and selected a path in an attached storage to server for storing files. But a problem has been occurred for storage and I have lost my route and all information into it. So my database situation has been change to recovery pending mode and even I cannot change the route which I have set already. Because my database is in recovery pending mode and in this mode, application does not allow me to execute Alter command.
I have searched in internet to find alternatives for changing my database mode from Recovery pending to Online. But all alternatives want me to dissolve the problem in storage route of files in RBS configuration.

What resolutions are there? Please help me…..
Sincerely

What is the problem? It sounds to me that you want to find and correct this issue and then the database "should" come online. Also, are there any messages in the SQL Logs that may shed some light on what file or resource is causing the issue?

SQL database in recover pending may cause loss of SQL database and for this critical issue you must use external tool. Read more about how to prevent SQL database from recovery mode from here:- http://www.sqlrepairtool.org/repair-mdf.html
