Is this related to the ClearTrace ?

What do you mean by "open SQL 2012" ? Are you referring to the client tool - SQL Server Management Studio ?

Example
open sql 2005 using sqlwb in run command
u can open sql 2008R2 by using SSMS in run command

then what is the way to open sql 2012 using run command.
