Have you tried with SQL Server management Studio? Have you checked the SQL Server Error logs?Jack Vamvas--------------------http://www.sqlserver-dba.com |

The reason I'm suggesting SQL Server Management studio is to check that you can connect to the SQL Server outside of mysql workbench. You mentioned in the initial post that you're making a sql server connection attempt via mysqlworkbench. There could be a number of reasons that you are losing connection.Checking the logs may give you some clues for further investigationJack Vamvas--------------------http://www.sqlserver-dba.com |
