Hello everyone,

first i want to apologize myself, i´am new with sql i dont know terminology, or anything about it. I have tried to search for different solutions on internet but could not find solution for my problem, and i dont know what to search for.

I use specific software related to products from my company .It normally works on way you enter serial number and get information, but sometimes we dont get serial number but only product model or type or date or something else....
so I need reverse way (by specific condition get serial number and than all information trough S/N in normal way), before it used MS access databases. In latest version it use sql server2008 r2.

I have installed server 2008 (not r2)

and i cant access to database, i log in with windows auth. and i get this, but cant access to real data.

i have open config file inside of software and take pass and username, i cant log inside with it. but with win auth,i have tried to change password for SA but still get same thing as on win auth.

thanks in advance

best regards,
marko

If you are connecting the Management Studio you need to have the correct permissions to be able to access the various objects. Under security is your name there? you will need to speak with the db admin to set you up.

The user you are using has limited access. There isn't anything we can do to help you increase the access. You must find the DBA or maybe server administrator to get more access.
