 how to automatically save email attachment

i get an email daily with an attachment. i want to automatically save the attachment to a server. i managed to get a rule on outlook to save the atachment in a folder on my computer. but i want it saved to a folder on a server. how can i do this? thanks,

You'll need to write an Outlook extension (say, in C#) that talks to the database

Use filestream - this article is a good read. https://www.simple-talk.com/sql/learn-sql-server/an-introduction-to-sql-server-filestream/
You could also save as varbinary if you are on an older version of SQL Server

@James -- Good storage strategy but not much help in getting the attachment from Outlook to Sql.
