Joe writes "What is microsoft thinking by making the null value for a DateTime field default to 1/1/1900. Does anyone know a way around this bug? I have many date fields to keep up with in my SQL database. Some of them must be truely null meaning blank!
Also, why cannot a date be before 1756? What if I want to keep track of ancient date information?
Do the same things happen in SQL 2000?
