Just trying to get an idea of everyone on the forum as to education.
Can everyone post if they went to college / not, basically the most education you have and the degrees you may have or are obtaining.

Also the college you attended (if applicable)
Your major
And your credit card number (just kidding )

Jon

I have a music degree from a small Australian university, right near where Byrmol now lives.

That's about it, all my IT stuff (asp / vb / sql / c# etc ) is self taught.

Good question

Totally forgot to post what I have / do not have!!!

Got my bachelors degree computer science from wayne state university (www.wayne.edu)

Wanted to get my masters from there but work had me tied up so I had to take online classes, ended up getting my masters from UOP (Univeristy of Phoenix (Computer Science as well))

Currently I am homework free!!!! But have been busy lately with work / life in general.

JimL (impressive...sounds rough!)

Left school with a big fat zero!

Started as a warehouse drone now I have my own office and spend my hours programming

Self taught in all the following:

BASIC
Assembler
C
C++
Visual Basic
VBA
Visual Basic.NET

Currently:

T-SQL
German

Generally write Access appllications, but like to throw myself into graphics when I have time and energy.

For someone who left school with nothing I think I am doing PDW and having fun to boot

Barely made it through high school. (suburbia USA, mid-late '70s -- I think you know what I mean)

cabinet/furniture making for 15 years, suckered my first IT boss into hiring me 10 years ago. On-the-job/self training since then. Wow, has it been 10 years already?!?

Spirit1, say hi to Arnonld Schwarzenegger for me. We you consulted for those movies? Oh yeah, I guess you weren't born yet. :)

Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with emphasis in Computer Science from San Diego State University

For the most part, the people that I have worked with, especially those with senior or above knowledge of SQL Server, do not have degrees.

I've got a degree in Maths (though you can't tell!) and I once swore I'd never touch a computer again (should have stuck to it!!)

I've also done various MS courses if they count
