hi guys

what is fail over clustering? when a DBA go for a fail over cluster?
could any one explain on it.

Hi
The failover cluster is when we have some databases running on one server and that server goes down.
so to avoid downtime we configure this failover server.The DBA has to manually switchover the servers.
This will avoid downtime
