Incredible isn't it? "My backup is 10 days old, but the stuff in between, that I've just deleted, must be stored somewhere. On the outside of the hard disk drive case maybe??"

My (former) manager would do this if she could - yes I'm serious. She doesn't trust databses, and clearly hates trees - maybe she fell out of one when she was little (probably about the age of 6 Kristen ). She never throws paper away (nor recycles it) so her office is a real fire hazard.

She's pregnant at the moment - which frankly leaves me speechless on so many levels.

I said that if she is my manager when she comes back I'll go stack shelves in MacDonalds it would be more intellectually satisfying. That would mean she would have to be DBA, I think I would tell her about this site to keep you guys entertained

I formatted my disk Jim, but its OK the Data Recovery people have found a 0 byte MDF file
