I was asked to debug a sproc done by a consultant we (ok, not me) hired....

Java developer: Why can't I see the result set?

Me: Tell him to put SET NOCOUNT ON in the sproc

So now I'm looking at the Sproc...on the way in he does this


	IF OBJECT_ID('#tempTable') IS NOT NULL 
		Begin
	    Drop table #tempTable 
		End



I don't get paid enough...then again, there probably isn't enough money anyway

Maybe the consultant thought that was not to be discovered, so you have to call him again to fix it.
