I wanted to say that, I really did. What;s the point of trying to explain what's wrong with it, the guy should find a different profession, he doesn't think "solutions" the way that natural-born programmers do.

Perhaps if you told him to practice the phrase "Would you like fries with that?", as it will very likely help them in their future career path. We used that a lot in grad school.

acctually he isn't.

He contacted me on MSN and he's preety enthusiastic about everything... it's just that he lacks sql concept understanding.
I quite understand that. It's hard to switch from procedural to set based thinking...
