Is he for real? Let me se if I understood the code...
1) He builds a string dynamically
2) He then opens a command window and echoes to text to a file
3) This is repeated for all records
Am I missing something here?

I can live with data disappears
1) The server crashes 5-6 times per day.
2) It is a known bug.
3) A hotfix exists.
4) Will not install it.
5) Wait for next service pack.
