What's the meaning of a BIT?
No, you're wrong! Once I got it working I will post the solution here for others like you who doesn't know about it.

I wonder what went through his head that day?
If the designer wouldn't give him the answer he sought for, how could he possible expect a forum member to know that Status {1, 0} means for someone who never heard of the application?

Dunno, but if you look back through his/her posting history, this isn't the first time for this kinda behaviour.

If you're referring to this one:

http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=150312

You could lighten up on him/her a little bit.

That reply was uncalled for, plus it's a cross post.

Wouldn't hurt if Celko lightened up a bit, but I have seen much harsher replies from him. At least he didn't tell the guy to get a job flipping burgers.

I edited it out. I've seen a lot of bad posts and have not touched them, but this one was really inappropriate.

Joe Celko rubs me the wrong way too, but I'd never post a reply like that guy did.
