That person is wandering around posts providing no-help-full content. Mostly the posts are years old. Probably the plan is to then revisit &edit them with SPAM links thinking noone will notice (we will ...)

Could just be that the person is, indeed, a Twit though ...

I'm a big fan of Remus. Met him a couple of years ago and he spent quite a bit of time reviewing a complicated solution I had designed for asynchronous updates across geographical distances, involving several disparate systems and platforms.

He was very gracious and generous with his time. Wasn't aware of hos blog on his consulting site. Glad you posted it. Thanks.

There was someone over at SSC a while back (haven't see for some time) who's sig read 'Senior SQL Server DBA. MCITP (SQL 2008 Administration) .... ' and he used to ask questions even more basic than these. Was rather frightening...

What I find worse than his questions is that he's answering other people's questions, and usually getting things wrong.

I don't think he knows his SALT from his HASH, or what SQL Injection is, or why it might be a risk, and seems to be supporting Chinese characters in VARCHAR
