Dear All,I was given an SQL Server 2005 db on a CD, and I was supposed to restore it on my machine so that I can start working with this.However when i try to Restore Database, the following error is cropping up:-Too many backup devices specified for backup or restore; only 64 are allowed.RESTORE HEADERONLY is terminating abnormally. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 3205)Can anybody help pleaseThanks for your help and timeJohann |

Are you trying to restore on a v2005 server?If so sounds like the backup is corrupt.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
