I need to grant read permission to a user on all tables of all databases in the server. I have created a login for the user. Not I am finding problem while trying to grant select permission on all tables of all database in the server, Can anybody help me. I have large number of databases so i cannot grant permission individually.

you can grant the rights for the new user to be the db_datareader role, so it will have select permission for all tables. As for generating the script, can use the sysdatabases in master to help.
