 Code entry - cursor does not advance to next line

I've Googled abit on this.
It's very annoying to have to hit the "Enter" key twice or hit the space bar once and then the "Enter" key to advance to the next line of code. I know it doesn't occur in some instances for entering the body of the SQL code it happens. I'm sure it's a setting but not sure which one. I have word wrap and virtual space unchecked.

Check your modifier keys (Ctrl, Alt, Shift, Windows and menu) they may be stuck. Tap each of them a few times and see if that clears it.

If you do this, you may get prompted for Sticky Keys or some of the other accessibility features, you should disable them entirely before continuing.
