I am restoring a backup onto a new SQL Server. When I run the backup script, I receive the following message. There is very little about this that I've found by searching Google:

The transaction log for database 'mydbname' is full due to 'NOTHING'.

How can a transaction log be full due to nothing on a brand new server?
