Ok. So I've given Volk a hard time about the Ken Henderson book, "Guru's Guide To Transact SQL". Holy Sh###! Definately worth the money and reasonably priced. I'm only 3 chapters into it. Like Rob has stated, the chapter on undocumented Sp's is well worth it.Mike "Anyone think someone else is stupid, he/she is the stupid. "

Deep breaths Nazim...it's OK. SHurley works with Rob and Mike. He is just applying a little sarcasm.Damian |

Hmmm, so would it be bad to mention that there is a chance your local library has a copy already? Or at least that's where the copy that's sitting about 5 feet from me came from :) I usually find it's best to preview books before buying them. There's far too many that you flip through once and then toss aside to never open again. (The Guru's Guide is most definately not one of those books.)I would buy it, but I'm little more than a glorified secretary with an equivalent pay rate. I need to spend money on books that I can't borrow, though I will buy a copy once I get a decent job.----------------------"O Theos mou! Echo ten labrida en te mou kephale!"

And now, just to drive ALL of you completely insane once more, I received Ken's 2nd book this morning! (I'm thinking of asking graz to just change my title to "Ken Henderson's Bitch")Haven't read it yet, but I will, and you can count on me to endlessly harass everyone into buying it, just like the original Guru's Guide!

I missed my chance. At some point recently after the first "Guru's Guide" release Ken went on a book signing tour. He was at the Plano, TX Barne's & Noble (Ken lives in approximately the same area of Texas as I do). If I could've gotten an autographed copy I could have made a small fortune selling it to Rob. I'll have to keep my eyes open for a chance on the second one. Justin
