How to list the sysadmins on a server. Or listing members of sysadmin server role?

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.

Can run query from single server via linked servers. Anyway, you have to connect to each server to get info.

With 30 servers (and more instances?) I would be tempted to hold the connection info in a table and use openrowset or osql to get the data rather than maintain linked servers.

I am using SQLCMD for the purpose.

1. I have a domain account for all the users.
2. Hence I can use trusted connection parameter –E
3. SQLCMD has a interesting parameter :CONNECT which can be used to connect different servers

I hope this gives a fair idea what I am doing; let me know if some needs more information.

Thank you all.
