I'd start with understanding DBCC LOG.

But seriously, go buy some books and start reading. I highly recommend the Inside SQL Server 2005 series.

No, although it wouldn't hurt.

I would like to learn more about SQL servers. Do you recommend me to take some classes or you think buying good books would be sufficient? I just don't know where to go and if these training centers are any better. Thanks, Xavico

The training centers suck. They only give you enough knowledge to pass the certification exams.

I'll chime in with my broken record saying, that if you actually want to have a solid foundation in understanding data, then you should read: An Introduction to Database Systems by C.J. Date.
