hi,i have a problem with scheduled backup jobs failing in SQL server 2000.the error i get is 'job failed. the owner of job does not have server access'. the owner for all jobs is SA. can somebody help me please..its urgent. some of the jobs succeed and the others fail. what can be the problem...is there any walk around to this |

Does server allow sql authentication? Any details in sql server log? |

What account is the SQL Server Agent running under? Does that user have rights to where you're trying to backup to? I assume maybe you're backing up across the network for some of the jobs and maybe locally for others??Terry |
