Hi there,I have an end user who can login to enterprise manager and see the jobs there.But if he tried to login to the same (2k) server using management studio(2k5) ,and when he clicks the jobs,it gives him error(failed to retrive request…an exception occurred etc..).Its only for a particular 2k server this issue is..But every other 2k server jobs looks ok when connected through management studio.he can view jobs..Can somebody help…Thanks,leena |

Thanks for the reply..Its 9.00.1399.00 for management studio..but you see,he can acess other 2000 servers jobs, on the same 2k5 management studio..thats what perplexes me..quote: Originally posted by rmiao What's sp level of that sql2k?

I was asking sql2k sp level, that server may have different build than other working sql2k servers. |

You didn't mention that. Can that user see jobs on subject sql2k from different sql2k5 clien machine? |
