I hope everyone who celebrates this has a great weekend! Anyone who doesn't celebrate it, well...enjoy the day anyway! Drink a beer! Call in sick tomorrow! (you didn't hear that from me...) Don't drink and drive! Shoot off some fireworks! [insert more random clichés and safety comments here]

What are your plans for this weekend?

My 15 year old nephew is visiting from Michigan, has been all week. We'll probably go to Midevil Knights.

Fun stuff! I've always wanted to go see that. Minnesota kinda sucks for entertainment, though.

Our entertainment generally involves drinking. Yup. So I'll be doing quite a bit of that.

Thursday = street dance & fireworks
Friday = planting trees & blind date (!!)
Saturday = grad party
Sunday = heading to the lake with my niece and family
Monday = recovery day!! also hopefully getting that new computer then :D

spirit - Nope, not a boyfriend...a blind date. I decided my taste in men sucks, so my friends said they'd hook me up. Not working well there, either, lol.

jez - haha, nice. My dad and I did that when I was little...good times!

rockets were a success. lost the big one though - went over 1000 ft and drifted far away on the descent. :(

The fourth of July is a great time to reflect on our roots and based on that reflection realize that we don't impeach often enough.

Impeach Bush and Cheney now before they do any more damage. It's the patriotic thing to do.

Nothing's more fun than a bunch of college students setting a gigantic bonfire, getting drunk, and partying all night.

Now here’s a fire:

Fourth of July was good here! Didn't do as much as I had hoped...too many hung over people and they didn't wanna BBQ :( Ah well. I got my new computer Monday, spent the past few days LIVING on it...trying to get it setup to be a multiple-domain server. Oi, the challenges. So, that's where I'll be for all my spare time. lol.

jez - did you guys decorate the rockets and such? I was an idiot and made mine skyblue when I was little...couldn't find it in the sky, couldn't see where it landed. "You are lost and gone forever. Dreadful sorry, Clementine."

Thanks for the laugh. Reminds me of an old, bad joke. Why is the sky blue? Well, if it was green, we wouldn't know where to stop mowing.
