When i try to install Sql Server 2005 in my notebook with OS Vista 64 , when i inciate setup it , i accept conditions and then Install it shows me an error "error 193 installing .net framework 2.0"I have tried to install .NET framework and it saids that framework all redy exists.Can somebody help me about this error, i am new in this forum, so if i have braked any rules pls notify me.THANKS! | While I've never experienced the error you're having, rest assured you're not alone with installation errors from SQL Server. I have not had a clean install yet (except express edition) where it doesn't fail or misinstall some component.Anyway, as far as having 'braked' the forum rules ? I would suggest searching the net before posting Q's in the forums (far quicker to find a posted solution than to rewrite it).Google is your friend:http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/forums/en-US/sqlsetupandupgrade/thread/dea45069-a025-494b-840b-a5a5bf420743/ (maybe you need to repair your .NET installation?) |
