SQL 2008 should be able to run on the same box as MS SQL 2005, correct ? |

Yes.Please notice that only one instance can be the default instance.The other instance must be referred to as [machine]\[instance] in your connectionstring. E 12°55'05.63"N 56°04'39.26" |

Also remember that these two instances will be fighting over the same physical memory, CPU, disk controllers, etc. Make sure that the box is sized appropriately for the load you expect, and that the two instances do not try to squeeze each other out at peak times. |
