Hi everyone,Can anyone give me the answer to this inquiry. Thanks in advance for the explanation and more power.1. Do MSSQL 2005 Ent. Edition has any disadvantages over backing up big size of db let say 10GB or more. what is the limit size to backup the db.2. Will the MSSQL 2005 generate any table locks/deadlocks, or slowing down the system while performing backup?Thank you & best regards,Andrian |

1. No and none2. No - it will slow the system down a bit due to disk access and use of tr log but you shouldn't see any locking issues.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
