Hello,am installing ms sql and prompted whether to use windows authentication or mixed mode.1. I chose windows authentication. Is this ok ?2. how can i change it to both, once installtion is completethanksMM |

HiThe best authentication is going for Windows Authentication. If you have any legacy systems, then I would advice you to go with the SQL Server Authentication.In the management studio -> object Explorer -> Right Click on the Registered SQL Server -> Properties -> Security -> Server Authentication -> You can choose between Windows Authentication Mode and SQL Server and Windows Authentication Mode.I hope this will help.Ratan KalwaSQL Server Professionals User Grouphttp://www.revalsys.com |
