Not sure but http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=69316
I saw a reply I was so angered by that I responded. Then I saw that the thread had been dead for 3 years before the 2nd last post.

Hi Charlie,
I think it is no spam because there are no links etc.
No, you're never too old to Yak'n'Roll if you're too young to die. |

I've also deleted posts by visakh16 and Kristen since they were of no value to the real thread topic.

Not really Spam, but are you sure the post in:
http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=138366
was malicious? User's previous posts cover the normal range of subjects.
I'd written a nice reply about why we encrypt, and that we know that the encryption is weak,a nd then found the post locked when I SAVEd
User might have wanted to know if it was worth encrypting, rather than HOW to decrypt. (the question could have been meant either way of course ...)
Happy that you take/took a strong view though, but I'll keep my answer a while in case I get the chance to re-post it |

I don't have a problem with that at all.
My reply about WHY to encrypt was rather good, and now its ended up on the cutting room floor |
