I have to admit I'm intrigued by that thread. What exactly is going on in there? All they are posting is emails. It looks like some kind of software related to BMWs.

Sorry, replied to the wrong thread. His posts are at least on the topic of the thread. Not sure what to do about them.

Remove the SQL Hosting link ?? His replies may be on topic, but they are Junk. So its SPAM.
But that's why I'm not safe to be a forum ADMIN (here or anywhere else!) |

Poster's First Post : Is Koenig Solutions any good?
Replier's First Post: Yes
Amazing the number of people who want to fly from England to India for training because its better than the training in the UK and the number of such people who registered just to make that one post in the forums

Hi Kristen, I did my first training from Koenig - a little background 13 years workex, originally from India left 12 years back. I was out of touch with technology in my recent stints and wanted to refresh .Net & SQL server stack. After much diligence (Nov'2009-Feb'2010), left LN on Mar'8 & covered everything that I aimed for. We did cross a small hump initally but trainer was changed in jiffy. All in all, best knowledge, certifications and most critically efficient logistics (stay, food, ferrying around) & best location, of-course not to mention PRICE-POINT. At the cost of sounding Koenig sales, I do have to vouch for them for the trainers knew their craft & were trained to be polite to every level of query I threw at them. At my stage in career, there couldn't have been a better tech capsule!!, But it does demand it's pound of flesh, be prepared to put in 10hrs if you take fast-track. I would highly recommend regular track. Feel free to reach me for any technical coverage, I did Implementing SQL-Server-2008. |

Is this Spam as well??
I'm with Kristen on this one, why would you fly fromt he UK to do a course in India, especially when it is a 10 hour flight and M$ banned exams from taking place at many places over there due to firms giving the test answers to the students?!? |

If their only post is to promote a commercial product (or training course) I suggest we flag it as spam. I deleted that one.
If someone has a number of posts on topic and is participating in the community I'm fine to grant them some leeway.

The rest of it is spam too. They're just grabbing part of a previous response and appending the ad to that.
So in http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=145514
"It seems like the optimiser is trying to get the max length of the varchar fields on either side of the join when using LEFT JOIN (maybe because if it does exist, it will need to be the same length?!?)."
is a comment previously made by RickD.
