What is error mean when use DTS feature in SQL Server 2000 and import the text file:

Error Source Microsoft Data Transformation Services Flat File Rowset Provider

Error Description: Invalid delimited: text qualifier must be followed by a column delimiter (except the last column),

Context: Error calling OpenRowset on the provider

I had this same problem. I had "'s in my fields. Like this

"1", "The quick brown fox"
"2", "The "quick" brown fox"

You have to convert the "'s around quick to ' or remove them entirly BEFORE trying to connect to the file with DTS.
