Hello SQL Team! I just want to ask what would be the cause of unusual growing of our SQL Database. What i noticed is that our backup last March 31, 2009 the back file is only 19.5GB (that back-up was from year 2004 to that date March 31, 2009). But I noticed that as of today November 23, 2009 the back-up is now (47.2GB It is added 8months or less records compared to my March 31, 2009 backup the size is doubled) and original database is 53.9GB the size also is doubled in the March file size.

Hope that you can give me an advice on how is this happen.

Thank you in advance...

What recovery model are you using? If it's FULL or BULK_LOGGED, then how often do you backup your transaction logs?
