I use to be able to upsize my database from Access to MS SQL.I updated Windows Vista to Windows 7 and now cannot upsize anymore.I have downloaded the MDAC 2.8 drivers but still cannot connect.I am using Access 2007. This is the error message[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen(Connect().] SQL Server does not exist or access denied. The upsizing wizard only works with Microsoft SQL Server (version 6.5 SP5 or higher). Please log into a SQL Server data source.I also have MS Server 2005 Enterprise Manager and log into the database fine with it.I also had a problem with my printer and contacted the manufacteur technical team.I am afraid they may have removed something and that is the reason I can no longer connect. But what I don't know.I noticed when he was done with fixing my printer connection (WiFi) that I also had a few other files removed.Any help with this would be appreciated as I have a membership database and need to update it. |
